The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has been dropping millions of leaflets on Iraq to influence the people there to cooperate with Operation Iraqi Freedom. CENTCOM has used a photo by Allan Tannenbaum taken in Kuwait after its liberation to help convince Iraqis not to set their oil fields on fire. These leaflets, along with thousands of coalition troops, have been effective in keeping the oil fields intact for the benefit of the Iraqi people.
